Here are some tips to keep AirDroid Remote Support running in the background and it can prevent your Samsung device to appear offline.
Disable battery optimization on AirDroid Remote Support
Open AirDroid Remote Support > tap on Organization & Unattended mode > after downloading the add-on, tap on Ignore battery optimizations > tap Allow to stop optimizing battery usage.
For different versions of Android on Samsung, we have categorized the tips' steps and screenshots according to the version for you:
For Android 7 - 8, please refer to the following settings:
Set Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep as Always
Go to Settings > Connection > Wi-Fi > ADVANCED and select "Always" in Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep.
Disable advanced battery options and uncheck AirDroid Remote Support on Device maintenance
Go to Settings > General management > Battery, then make sure it shows "Optimized" under Power mode.
Go to Settings, disable "Adaptive battery", "Put unused apps to sleep", "Auto disable unused apps", and "Optimize settings" options.
Then, please make sure AirDroid Remote Support is unchecked on Memory.
Additional app settings for AirDroid Remote Support
Go to Settings > Apps (Applications), please refer to the following settings:
Mobile data: enable "Allow background data usage" and "Allow app while Data saver on".
Notifications: Enable "Notifications".
Battery: make sure Optimise battery usage shows "Not optimized".
If Optimize battery usage does not shown as "Not optimized", please go back to the Apps page > ⋮ > Special access > Optimize battery usage, and uncheck AirDroid Remote Support.

Disable WLAN power saving mode on Advanced Wi-fi settings
Go to Settings > Connections > WLAN (or Wi-Fi), tap the "⋮" button that is on the upper right corner of the page > "Advanced".
Make sure the "WLAN power saving mode" option has been disabled.
Exclude AirDroid Remote Support on General management settings
Go to Settings > General Management > Memory > make sure AirDroid Remote Support has been listed on Apps to exclude from cleaning. (Apps that aren't checked)
Change Power mode on Battery settings
For Android 10 devices: please go to Settings > General Management > Battery > select "High performance" option and make sure "Adaptive power saving" option has been disabled.
Then, go to Power Management and disable "Adaptive battery", "Put unused apps to sleep", "Block connections", and "Optimize settings" options.
After that, go to Auto run apps and check "AirDroid Remote Support".
For Android 9 devices: please go to Settings > General Management > Battery and select "Optimized" under Power mode.
Then, go to Settings under the Battery page and disable "Adaptive battery", "Put unused apps to sleep", "Auto disable unused apps", and "Optimize settings" options.
Disable Advanced settings on Smart Manager or Device Care
For Android 10 devices: please go to Settings > General Management > Smart Manager > tap the "⋮" button that is on the upper right corner of the page > "Advanced".
Then, make sure "Auto optimization", and "Auto restart" options have been disabled.
For Android 9 devices: please go to Settings > General Management > Device Care > tap the "⋮" button that is on the upper right corner of the page > make sure "Auto optimization" and "Auto restart" options are disabled.
Additional app info settings for AirDroid Remote Support
Go back to Settings > Apps > tap on AirDroid Remote Support
Mobile data: enable "Allow background data usage" and "Use data without restrictions" (or Allow app while Data saver on).
Battery: make sure it shows "Not optimized" under Optimize battery usage.
Notification: enable "Show notifications".
Lock AirDroid Remote Support on the recent page
Tap on the Recent button (The icon may vary depending on the OS version) > long-press Support icon > tap on Lock this app > you will see a Lock icon on AirDroid Remote Support.
For Android 11 or above, please refer to the following:
If the device is using Wi-Fi network
Settings > Connections > WLAN > tap the " > disable the "WLAN power saving mode" option.
If Mobile Data is applicable
Settings > Connections > Data usage > Manage app data >Restrict background data > Use data without restrictions and make sure AirDroid Remote Support has been enabled.
Additional settings on General management (or Device Care)
Go to Settings > General management (or Device Care) > Battery > Make sure "Power saving" option has been disabled.
Then, tap on Background usage limits > Auto run apps and enable "AirDroid Remote Support".
Make sure the "Block connections" and "Optimize settings" have been disabled.
Go back to Battery > More battery settings and make sure the "Adaptive battery" option has been disabled.
Then, go back to General Management (or Device Care) > Memory > Excluded apps > make sure AirDroid Remote Support is listed. (tap "+" button then you can add apps)
Keep AirDroid Remote Support running
Go back to Settings > Apps > tap on AirDroid Remote Support
Mobile data: enable "Allow background data usage" and "Use data without restrictions" (or Allow app while Data saver on).
Battery: select the "Unrestricted" option.
Lock AirDroid Remote Support on the recent page
Tap on the Recent button (The icon may vary depending on the OS version) > long-press Support icon > tap on Lock this app > you will see a Lock icon on AirDroid Remote Support.
Additional settings on Smart Manager (Available for devices that installed this app)
Find Smart Manager > tap the"⋮" button that is on the upper right corner of the page > Automation. Make sure the "Auto optimize daily", "Auto restart at set times", and "Adaptive power saving" options have been disabled.
