Under Kiosk Browser, you can select Website Allowlist and Browser Settings.
How to set up Website Allowlist on Your Kiosk?
There are 2 WAYS to set up Website Allowlist on your Kiosk.
Options 1: From Site Library
1. Go to Admin Console > Config File > Site Library > +Add Sites
After that, please enter the shortcut name and the URL you want to allowlist.
(NOTE: URL need to begin with "http://" or "https://")
For Icon, our Admin Console will detect a shortcut icon from the URL by default or you can click on + button to upload your customized logo. You can also select Add shortcut logo in Kiosk mode (Optional).
Under Settings, you will see the following options and select your preferred settings.
Options 2: From Config File
1. Go to Admin Console > Config File > you can either +Create Config File or edit existing Config File
2. After that, click on Kiosk Browser > Website Allowlist > + Add Sites.
3. If you created the allowlist on Option 1, you can select a specific webpage and Confirm.
3.1 If not, you can select Add New Site and set up the settings of your allowlisted webpage.
Website Allowlist Settings
Allow alert dialog: To access your website properly, we highly recommend you to enable this setting.
Allow Autofill: If you enable this, the browser will automatically fill in the information on the online form.
NOTE: If your website may access sensitive information, it is recommended to disable this.
Allow user to zoom website: If you disable it, you are not allowed to zoom in or out on a webpage.
Check existing file: If you disable it, you can download a file without checking if there is the same file on your file.
NOTE: This can reduce the storage of your device.
Auto refresh: If you enable it, you can set the frequency and it allows your webpage refresh automatically within a specific time.
Display desktop version priority: If you prefer your webpage to access the Desktop view, you can enable it.
Text size: If you enable it, you can change the font size of the website.
Always start from set page: If the first page of your website is essential, you can enable it to make sure users accessing your website via the first page.
4. After setting up your allowlisted webpage, click on Confirm to create Website Allowlist.
NOTE: You can create a Shortcut or Set as Homepage for Kiosk Browser.
How to set up Browser Settings on Your Kiosk?
1. Go to Admin Console > Kiosk > Config File > click on the Arrow icon on your existed Config File > Edit
(NOTE: If you have not created Config File, click Create Config File instead.)
2. After that, click on Kiosk Browser > Browser Settings > you will see:
NOTE: The above settings ONLY APPLY in AirDoid Browser.
AirDrorid Browser Settings:
Display URL bar: when you enabled it, the URL bar will show up and you can switch to other website by changing the URL.
NOTE: If you DISABLED it, you CANNOT USE Allow multiple tabs to be opened, Allow "Print" option and Allow desktop website.
NOTE: You will need to allowlist the URL before you change the address.
Allow multiple tabs to be opened: If you enable it, you can access other webpages by different tabs.
Allow "Print" option: If you enable it, you can print the current webpage.
Allow desktop website: If you enable it, for some websites that DO NOT HAVE mobile version, you can switch to the desktop version.
Auto page adjustment: To access webpages properly, it is recommended to enable it for better browsing experience.
Always in incognito mode: If your website contains sensitive information, it is highly recommended to enable incognito mode for additional security.
Auto-clear cache: For devices that are on public area, it can allow Kiosk Browser to wipe within a specified time.
Disable Back button: If you enable it, users cannot use the Back button to return the last page but they can tap the back icon on the upper left corner for navigation.
