A scheduled task will help you execute a specific action based on a specific frequency and time so that you do not need to manually execute the same action on every device. For example, if your device is required to reboot for maintenance every Wednesday at 10 AM, you can use this function to perform a scheduled task effectively.
Let us briefly introduce the options you can set on A scheduled task:
- Frequency: You can set up Every day or Every week, which you can specify a day to execute the workflow. For example, you can set up every Monday and Wednesday to perform the workflow.
- Time: You can schedule an automated action based on the device's local timezone where the device is located, or by specifying a unified time and timezone.
- Automated workflow: You can set up different actions, such as Device Reboot and Notification, when the scheduled task is triggered. If you are interested in what automated workflow you can set, please refer to this article.
Note: This feature is available for Biz Daemon 1.1.8.0 or above.
