The Security & Remote Features is designed for protecting your personal privacy when using the features (like remote camera, remote control, SMS and so on) in remote connection mode. When the remote permission of the feature is OFF, it means that the feature is not available in remote connection mode.
If you find that a feature works fine on a LAN connection mode, but it does not work in remote connection mode, it may that the remote permission of the feature has been turned off.
How to enable the remote permissions?
Open AirDroid Personal App on your phone > Me > Security & Remote Features > Turn On the remote permissions of the features that you want to use them in remote connection mode.
Note:
The features will not be affected if you using them in LAN connection mode, even you turn off the remote permissions. But if it is the first time that you use the features, you should confirm the authorization from the pop-up window which displays on your phone.
If you failed to confirm the authorization from the pop-up window, you need to go to Settings on your devices and grant the permission to AirDroid.
