The Security & Remote Features is designed for protecting your personal privacy when using the features (like remote camera, remote control, SMS, and so on) in remote connection mode. When the remote permission of the feature is OFF, it means that the feature is not available in remote connection mode.
If you find that a feature works fine on a LAN Connection Mode, but it does not work in remote connection mode, it may be that the remote permission of the feature has been turned off.
How to enable the remote permissions?
Open AirDroid Personal App on your phone, go Me > Security & Remote Features, then turn On the remote permissions of the features you want to use in remote connection mode.
Note:
The features will not be affected if you use them in LAN connection mode, even when you turn off the remote permissions. But if it is the first time you use the features, you should confirm the authorization from the pop-up window that displays on your phone.
If you failed to confirm the authorization from the pop-up window, you need to go to Settings on your devices and grant permission to AirDroid.
