What is One-Way Audio on AirDroid Personal?
One-Way Audio is a new feature that has just been added to AirDriod. With the One-Way Audio feature, you can access the device microphone and hear the ambient sound from where your device is located while viewing your device screen or using your device’s camera. You can use it to keep your property safe or as a baby alarm.
How to Enable One-Way Audio on AirDroid Personal?
If your devices are under Local Connection (connect to the same Wi-Fi), please follow the steps below to enable the One-Way Audio feature:
- Controlled:
- Download AirDroid Personal on A device, and keep it running
- Controller:
- Download AirMirror on B device, or visit AirDroid Personal Web Client (web.airdroid.com)
- Tap Remote Camera or Screening Mirroring to connect A device
- After connecting, tap the Ear icon on the bottom menu
If your devices are under Remote Connection (connect to different networks), please follow the steps below to Enable the One-Way Audio feature:
- Controlled:
- Download AirDroid Personal on A device, and keep it running
- Go Me > Security & Remote Features
- Tap Camera and Screening Mirroring > ENABLED PERMISSIONS
- Turn on the One-Way Audio option
- Controller:
- Download AirMirror on B device, or visit AirDroid Personal Web Client (web.airdroid.com)
- Tap Remote Camera or Screening Mirroring to connect A device
- After connecting, tap the Ear icon on the bottom menu
If you want to disable the Audio feature, tap the Ear icon again, then the Audio will be disabled.
Note:
- View Only Mode has been renamed to Screen Morring in the latest AirDroid Personal Version.
- The Audio is totally FREE to use under the local connection, but the premium account is required if you want to use it under the remote connection.
- The Audio feature is only available on the latest version of the AirDroid Personal app and AiMirror App. If you are currently using an old version, you can Update them in Google Play or our Website.
