Augmented Supervision Mode enhances AirDroid Kids' security protectioncapability, preventing unauthorized modification of its permissions oruninstallation of the app.
There are two ways to enable Augmented Supervision mode on Android device, from an Android device or a computer.
Please choose according to your device:
Before enabling Augmented Supervision Mode, your child's Android device should be bound to your account.
- Download and install the AirDroid Parental Connector on your computer.
- Turn on USB debugging on your child's Android device. If you don't know how to do that, click here.
- Connect the Android device to the computer via a cable.
- Allow USB debugging for the computer.
For the first time you connected your Android device to a computer via a USB cable, another pop-up window "Allow USB debugging" will appear on your Android device. Please check "Always allow debugging from this computer", and then tap OK. - Click the "Start" button in the AirDroid Parental Connector then the enable process finishes!
Note:
If you received "Failed to enable" error, please go to "Settings -Accounts" of your child's phone to sign out all the user accounts, and disable dual apps, guest mode, and multi-user, then try again.
Before enabling Augmented Supervision Mode, your child's Android device should be bound to your account.
- Install and open AirDroid Parental Connector on your own Android device. (From Play Store or AirDroid Official Website)
- Open AirDroid Parental Connector on your own Android device, tap the "Connect to an Android device" option.
- Turn on USB debugging on your child's Android device. If you don't know how to do that, click here.
- Connect the Child's Android device and your Android device via the C2C (C to Lightning) cable.

- Choose "Charge only" and tap "OK" in the Child's Android device prompt.
- Tap "OK" in your own Android device "Allow AirDroid Parental Connector to access XXX?" prompt then the enable process finishes!
- Choose "Charge only" and tap "OK" in the Child's Android device prompt.

Turn on USB debugging.
Generally, you can turn on the USB debugging by the following steps:
- Open Settings of the Android device, find "About Phone" (or "About Device")
- Tap Build Number multiple times until the "Developer options" has been Enabled
- Go to "Developer options" and Turn on "USB debugging"
