Without enabling Supervision Mode, the Basic Mode can only have the App List, Real-time Location, Geofence, and Route History features.
There are two ways to enable Supervision mode on iOS, from an Android device or a computer.
Please choose according to your device:
Before enabling Supervision Mode, your child's iOS device should be bound to your account.
- Download and install the AirDroid Parental Connector.
- Click the "Enable Supervision Mode" button in the AirDroid Parental Connector.
- Enter the Pairing Code and confirm it is bound to the correct account. (Ensure the pairing code is accurate to avoid binding the device to a stranger's account. If so, please disable Supervision mode and unbind the device. After that, please go ahead and execute the process of binding and enabling supervision mode again.)
- Connect the iOS device to the computer via a USB cable.
- Click Start on the computer.
Enabling Supervision Mode will require restarting the iOS device and managing it, which may take some time. Older devices or system versions may take longer. (If the iOS device connects to a poor network, it may get stuck on the "Configuring iPhone" screen after restart. To resolve this issue, ensure a stable network connection, then restart the device and try again.)
- Follow the instructions after the device boots, then the enable process finishes!
Note:
Because of the iOS device management strategy, after enabling Supervision Mode, the following situations may occur, which are all normal:
- The order of apps on the home screen may be disrupted.
- Call records on the phone will be cleared and can't be recovered.
- The Assistive touch dots set on the desktop might disappear.
- Some previously removed apps may reappear.
- Some previously removed apps may reappear.
Disabling Supervision Mode
To disable Supervision Mode, please click the "Disable Supervision Mode" button in the AirDroid Parental Connector.

Some Samsung devices may display a "Select an app for the USB device" prompt (left image below). This pop-up may cover the "Allow AirDroid Parental Connector to access XXX" prompt (right image below), preventing supervision mode from being enabled. When the left image appears, please tap the blank area on the page to display the correct one (right image below). If you have already made a selection in the left image, a "Connect" button will appear. Tap "Connect" to display the correct one (right image below). Then, tap "OK."

Note:
For newer iOS devices (either new models or with newer system versions), some older Android devices(either old models or with old system versions) may fail to recognize them when connected with a data cable. If you encounter this situation, please use a computer to enable supervision mode instead.
