After enabling Calls & SMS Monitoring, parents can track blacklisted calls and monitor keywords in SMS and iMessage for child's iOS device.
How to Set Up Calls & SMS Monitoring
Before you begin, make sure the child’s device is bound to your account and that the initial setup is complete. If you haven’t done this yet, please follow the steps in What is AirDroid Parental Control and how to start using?
- Open AirDroid Parental Connector.
- Connect the child’s iOS device to your computer using a USB cable.
- Click "Enable Calls & SMS Monitoring".
- Click "Start".
- Set up or enter Backup Password to continue.
(If there’s a large amount of data on your child’s device, the update may take longer. Please wait patiently for it to finish.)
After setup is complete, you’ll see a screen like the one below:
When you add contacts to the blacklist or add new keywords, connect the child’s device to your computer via USB and update it. Alternatively, turn on "Auto-Update". AirDroid Parental Connector will then update the device automatically when the child’s device and your computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
