Settings of the device
Depending on your device model and operating system version, the names and availability of these settings may vary. Not all devices will have every setting listed below—simply enable any relevant options you can find on your child's device.
Battery Settings
Go to Settings > Battery.
(Use)Battery Saver: Off
Extreme Battery Saver: Never use
Adaptive Battery or Adaptive features: Turn off these options.
App Settings
Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & Notifications) > AirDroid Kids.
Notifications: Off for AirDroid Kids/disable "All AirDroid Kids notifications"
Mobile Data & Wi-Fi:
Background data: disabled
Unrestricted data usage: disabled
Pause app activity if unused: Disable this option.
App Battery Usage: Set to Unrestricted or ensure Battery Optimization and Not optimized has enabled for AirDroid Kids.
Battey: Unrestricted If not available, look for "Battery Optimization", find AirDroid Kids, and choose "Don't optimize" or "Not optimized".
Network & Internet Settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Data Saver (names may vary by device).
(Use)Data Saver: disabled/Off
Unrestricted data (sometimes under Data Saver or Advanced settings): make sure AirDroid Kids has chosen
Ensure AirDroid Kids is selected as an unrestricted app.
Accessibility Settings
Search for "Accessibility" in Settings and go to the Accessibility Menu. Accessibility Menu Shortcut: Make sure this shortcut is turned Off.
NOTE:
Background tasks will consume a device's limited resources, like RAM and battery. So the Android OS system will handle the task killer when memory is low and very deliberately doesn't allow you or app developers to control the background task killer. That's why we can't keep the AirDroid Kids service permanently alive in the background.
Besides, the special case below will cause a connection problem too:
- Device power-off
- AirDroid Kids has been uninstalled
- There is no network on the device
