Settings of Samsung Device
Settings and paths might differ from those of your phone. Here are the steps for different Android versions:
Android 13.x
Battery Settings
Go to Settings of your phone > Battery and device care.
- Deep sleep: disabled
- Auto optimization: Restart when needed off
Settings of app
Go to the Settings of your phone > App, and find AirDroid Kids.
- Mobile data: both Allow background data usage and Allow data usage while Data saver is on enabled
- Battery: Unrestricted
Unrestricted data settings
Search and go to "Unrestricted data" settings, and make sure AirDroid Kids hasn't been restricted.
Accessibility settings
Search and go to "Accessibility menu", and make sure the Accessibility menu shortcut has been Off.
Settings > Connections
- WLAN
Tap the "
Disable the "WLAN power saving mode" option.
- Data usage
Go to Manage app data, make sure AirDroid Kids has been selected.
Tap the"
" button > Restrict background data > Use data without restrictions, make sure AirDroid Kids has been enabled.Settings > General management
Go back to Settings > General management.
- Battery
1. Make sure the "Power saving" option has been disabled.
2. Go to the Background usage limits > Auto run apps, enable "AirDroid Kids".
Make sure the "Block connections" and "Optimise settings" have been disabled
3. Go back to Battery > More battery settings, make sure the "Adaptive battery" option has been disabled.
- Memory
Go to Excluded apps, make sure AirDroid Kids is listed. (tap "+" button then you can add apps)
Smart Manager
Find Smart Manager > tap the"
" button > Automation. Make sure the "Auto optimise daily", "Auto restart at set times", and "Adaptive power saving" options have been disabled.Unrestricted data settings

App info
Long press the icon of AirDroid Kids > tap “i” icon to go to the info of AirDroid Kids. (or you can go to Settings > Apps > AirDroid Kids)
- Notifications: disable "Show notifications".
- Mobile data: enable "Allow background data usage" and "Use data without restrictions".
- Battery: select the "Unrestricted" option.

Power Mode: choose the "High performance" option. Make sure the "Adaptive power saving" option has been disabled.

1. Disable "Adaptive battery", "Put unused apps to sleep", "Block connections", and "Optimize settings" options.
2. Go to Auto run apps, check the "AirDroid Kids" option.

- Battery: make sure Optimise battery usage shows "Not optimised".

NOTE:
- Background tasks will consume a device's limited resources, like RAM and battery. So the Android OS system will handle the task killer when memory is low and very deliberately doesn't allow you or app developers to control the background task killer. That's why we can't keep the AirDroid Kids service permanently alive in the background.
- Besides, the special case below will cause a connection problem too:
- Device power-off
- AirDroid Kids has been uninstalled
- There is no network on the device
