Settings of the device
Settings and paths might differ from those of your phone. Here are the steps for different Android versions:
1. Turn off sensitive alert
Go to Settings > Privacy > Sensitive permission alert, and make sure it has been turned off.
2. Make sure AirDroid Kids will not be restricted by the app limit
Go to Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Always allow, and make sure AirDroid Kids is listed in Allowed apps.
3. Allowed AirDroid Kids to continue running when background power consumption is high
Go to Settings > Battery
- Save battery: didn't been chosen
- Super power-saving mode: disabled
- More settings: make sure Sleep mode and Auto enable Battery Saver are disabled
Background power consumption management > AirDroid Kids
- Choose the High background power usage option
4. Permission management
Go to Settings > Apps & permissions > App manager > AirDroid Kids
- Notification: Allow notifications disabled
- Permissions > All permissions: make sure Autostart, Floating window, and Background pop-ups options are disabled
5. Make sure the network connection of the device is always available
Go to iManager > Data traffic management > Data-saving mode: Data-saving mode disabled
1. Allowed AirDroid Kids to continue running when background power consumption is high
- Settings > Battery, make sure "Battery Saver", "Super power-saving mode", and "Sleep mode" options have been disabled.
- Go to Background power consumption management, find AirDroid Kids, and make sure "High background power usage" has been allowed.
2. Permission management
Settings > Applications and Permissions > App manager > AirDroid Kids.
- Notification: disable "Allow notification".
- Permissions: go to Single permission settings > allow to "Autostart".

- Security level: choose "Low".
3. iManager
- Open iManager > Data traffic management.
- Network management: make sure AirDroid Kids has been ticked both in "Data network" and "WLAN".
- Data-saving mode: make sure "Data-saving mode" has been disabled.

- Settings > WLAN > Advanced > Select "Always on" in WLAN sleep policy.
2. Allowed AirDroid Kids to continue running when background power consumption is high
- Settings > Battery > Select “Normal Mode”, then tap “High background power consumption” > Find AirDroid Kids and make sure it is allowed.

Settings > More settings > Applications > Installed > AirDroid Kids.
- Permissions: go to Single permission settings > Allow to "Autostart".
- Notification: disable "Allow notification".
Settings > More settings> Permission management > Permissions > Read installed apps info > AirDroid Kids.
- Security level: choose "Low".
4. iManager
Open iManager > Data traffic management
- Network management: make sure AirDroid Kids has been ticked both in "Data network" and "WLAN".
- Data-saving mode: make sure "Data-saving mode" has been disabled.
NOTE:
- Background tasks will consume a device's limited resources, like RAM and battery. So the Android OS system will handle the task killer when memory is low and very deliberately doesn't allow you or app developers to control the background task killer. That's why we can't keep the AirDroid Kids service permanently alive in the background.
- Besides, the special case below will cause a connection problem too:
- Device power-off.
- AirDroid Kids has been uninstalled.
- There is no network on the device.
