Settings and paths might differ from those of your phone. Here are the steps for different Android versions:
Network settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet
- Data Saver: disabled
- Unrestricted data: make sure AirDroid Kids ha chosen
App Settings
Settings > Apps > AirDroid Kids
- Notifications: Off
- Pause app activity if unused: disabled
- Mobile data & Wi-Fi: make sure both Background data and Unrestricted data usage have been enabled
- App Battery usage: Unrestricted
Battery Settings
- Battery Saver: Off
Accessibility Settings
Search and go to "Accessibility menu", and make sure the Accessibility menu shortcut has been Off.
Network and Internet
Go to Settings > Network and Internet.
- Turn off "Data Saver".
- Go to Unrestricted data, find and turn on the AirDroid Kids option.
Apps
Go back to Settings > Apps. Find AirDroid Kids.
- Mobile data and Wi-Fi: enable "Background data" and "Unrestricted data usage".
- Notifications: disable "AirDroid Kids notifications".
- Battery: choose "Unrestricted".
Battery
Go back to Settings > Battery.
Go to Battery Saver, turn off "Use Battery Saver", and choose "Never use" in Extreme Battery Saver.
Accessibility Settings
Search and go to "Accessibility menu", and make sure the Accessibility menu shortcut has been Off.

Go to Settings > Network internet - Data Saver.
- Turn off "Use Data Saver".
- Go to Unrestricted data, check the AirDroid Kids option.

Go to Apps & notifications, find AirDroid Kids.
- Mobile data & Wi-Fi: enable "Background data" and "Unrestricted data usage" options.
- Notifications: disable "All AirDroid Kids notifications".
- Battery: make sure it shows "Not optimized" in Battery optimization. If not, please go to Battery optimization, find AirDroid Kids, and choose "Don't optimize".

Go back to Settings > Battery, make sure the "Battery Saver" and "Adaptive Battery" options have been turned Off.

- Background tasks will consume a device's limited resources, like RAM and battery. So the Android OS system will handle the task killer when memory is low and very deliberately doesn't allow you or app developers to control the background task killer. That's why we can't keep the AirDroid Kids service permanently alive in the background.
- Besides, the special case below will cause a connection problem too:
- Device power-off
- AirDroid Kids has been uninstalled
- There is no network on the device
