Generally, keeping the AirDroid process running on the devices' background is the key to solving the connection problem, such as failing to connect devices, devices offline, or disconnecting constantly.
How to keep AirDroid running in the background on Samsung devices?
Settings of AirDroid App
Open AirDroid - Me - Settings
- Turn off "Power saving mode"
- Tap "Keep AirDroid running in the background", then a pop-up window will show "Do not optimize battery usage" or "Ignore battery optimizations", please tap "ALLOW" or "YES"
Note: If you didn't find the option "Keep AirDroid running in the background", that means you have already set up it before, or your device is running a version lower than Android 6.0.

NOTE:
- Background tasks will consume a device's limited resources, like RAM and battery. So the Android OS system will handle the task killer when memory is low and very deliberately doesn't allow you or app developers to control the background task killer. That's why we can't keep the AirDroid service permanently alive in the background.
